La chapelle nord de l’abbaye de Fontgombault était consacrée à saint Martin, c’est désormais la chapelle sud qui lui est dédiée. La chapelle nord garde cependant un vitrail figurant la vie de saint Martin. Le registre du bas présente une charité d’Amiens, le registre central une messe miraculeuse et le registre du haut  la mort de saint Martin. Entre le registre du bas et le central se trouve à gauche le Christ apparaissant en songe à saint Martin avec un ange et à droite une ordination épiscopale. Entre le registre central et celui du haut se trouve à gauche saint Martin moine enseignant à Marmoutier et à droite le miracle du pin, où saint Martin figure en évêque. Ce vitrail a été réalisé à Tours par Lobin en 1857.

The north chapel of Fontgombault Abbey was dedicated to Saint Martin, but the south chapel is now dedicated to him. However, the north chapel still has a stained glass window depicting the life of Saint Martin. The lower register shows a Charity of Amiens, the central register a miraculous mass and the upper register the death of Saint Martin. Between the lower and central registers, on the left, Christ appears to Saint Martin in a dream with an angel, and on the right, an episcopal ordination. Between the central and upper registers, on the left is Saint Martin, a monk teaching at Marmoutier, and on the right is the Miracle of the Pine, in which Saint Martin is portrayed as a bishop. This stained glass window was made in Tours by Lobin in 1857.
