Une première église Saint-Martin d’Étiolles est construite au Xe siècle. Elle est reconstruite au XIIe siècle dans le style roman. Elle est agrandie aîu XVIIe siècle avec un bas-côté Le long de la nef, à l’emplacement de l’ancien cimetière. L’église est consacrée le 1er août 1610 à saint Martin, saint Étienne et saint Laurent. Une cloche de l’église est fondue en 1870 pour l’effort de guerre durant le conflit franco-prussien.
