L’église Saint-Martin de Ploeren date du XVe siècle et a été agrandie au XVIIIe-XIXe siècle par l’ajout de transept et d’une sacristie. Une charité de saint Martin est sculpté en bas-relief sur la porte. Saint Martin apparaît en soldat casqué, tenant sa chlamyde de la main gauche et la coupant avec son épée de la main droite. Le mendiant est assis par terre. Il est écrit en-dessous du bas-relief : Saint Martin partage son manteau avec un mendiant. Ce bas-relief a été réalisé par M. Guilloti en 2003.

       

The church of Saint Martin in Ploeren dates from the 15th century and was enlarged in the 18th-19th century with the addition of a transept and a sacristy. A charity of Saint Martin is sculpted in bas-relief on the door. Saint Martin appears as a helmeted soldier, holding his chlamydia in his left hand and cutting it with his sword in his right hand. The beggar is sitting on the ground. Below the bas-relief it is written: Saint Martin shares his cloak with a beggar. This bas-relief was made by M. Guilloti in 2003.
