Selon Albert le Grand, une église est fondée à Oudon en 368, sous l’épiscopat d’Arisius, évêque de Nantes. L’église est donnée en 1137 par Guillaume, seigneur d’Oudon, à l’abbaye Saint-Aubin d’Angers, avec un terrain où sera fondé le prieuré Saint-Benoît.

Le 3 décembre 1850, Alphonse Fouschard donne un terrain et la maison Rideau dans le but d’y construire la nouvelle église paroissiale.

L’église conserve une relique de saint Martin.

According to Albert the Great, a church was founded in Oudon in 368, under the episcopate of Arisius, Bishop of Nantes. In 1137, Guillaume, Lord of Oudon, donated the church to the Abbey of Saint-Aubin in Angers, along with land on which the priory of Saint-Benoît was founded.

On 3 December 1850, Alphonse Fouschard donated a plot of land and the Rideau house to build the new parish church.

The church contains a relic of Saint Martin.
