L’église Saint-Martin de Mont-Saint-Martin est mentionnée pour la première fois en 1096. Ce premier édifice n’existe plus et l’église a été reconstruite au milieu du XIIe siècle dans le style roman. C’était un prieuré bénédictin dépendant de Saint-Vanne de Verdun. Elle a été donnée aux Jésuites de Verdun en 1599. L’église est de nouveau reconstruite en 1753 et restaurée de nombreuses fois au XIXe et au XXe siècle. Elle est désormais désaffectée au profit de l’église Saint-Barthélémy.

L’église est classée aux Monuments historiques en 1889. PA00106093

The church of Saint-Martin in Mont-Saint-Martin was first mentioned in 1096. This first building no longer exists and the church was rebuilt in the middle of the 12th century in the Romanesque style. It was a Benedictine priory dependent on Saint-Vanne de Verdun. It was given to the Jesuits of Verdun in 1599. The church was rebuilt again in 1753 and restored many times in the 19th and 20th centuries. It is now disused in favour of the church of Saint-Barthélémy.

The church was listed as a historical monument in 1889. PA00106093
