L’église Saint-Martin de Méricourt est fondée par l’évêque d’Amiens Geoffroy. Elle est donnée en 1111 au prieuré de Lihons-en-Santerre. Mais elle est démolie au début du XIXe siècle et reconstruite, mais de nouveau abîmée durant la Première Guerre mondiale, elle est restaurée dans l’entre-deux-guerres. L’église Saint-Martin est construite en briques avec des pierres de parement, dans le style néo-classique. Le chœur de l’église a un chevet plat. Il est plus étroit que la nef. L’intérieur est décoré dans le style art déco. L’église Saint-Martin conserve un tableau d’Arsène Letellier peint en 1862, figurant saint Martin en évêque devant une scène de Charité.

The Saint-Martin de Méricourt church was founded by the bishop of Amiens Geoffroy. It was given in 1111 to the priory of Lihons-en-Santerre.
