L’Église Saint-Martin de Franleu est construite au XVIe siècle. Le chevet est construit dans la deuxième moitié du XVIIe siècle.

Le bas-côtés nord de la nef ont disparu. La nef a quatre travées et est flanquée d’un bas-côtés sud. Le chœur a une abside à cinq pans. L’église est surmontée d’un clocher en tour carrée.

L’édifice est construit en craie et en briques. Il abrite un retable, restauré en 1996 par Christine Springel, au-dessus du maître-autel du XVIIe siècle. Il conserve également un vitrail figurant saint Martin.

L’église a été le lieu d’une bataille durant la Seconde Guerre mondiale, où des civils périrent, et deux vitraux contemporains y font référence.

The Church of Saint Martin de Franleu was built in the 16th century. The chevet was built in the second half of the 17th century.
The northern aisles of the nave have disappeared. The nave has four bays and is flanked by a south aisle. The choir has a five-sided apse. The church is topped by a square tower bell tower.
The building is built of chalk and brick. It houses an altarpiece, restored in 1996 by Christine Springel, above the 17th century high altar. It also has a stained glass window depicting Saint Martin.
The church was the site of a battle during the Second World War, in which civilians were killed, and two contemporary stained glass windows refer to this.
The church of Saint Martin was classified as a Historic Monument on 15 October 2014. PA80000079
