L’église Saint-Martin de Sénat est une église romane du XIIe siècle, comme le prouve le chœur, l’abside et le clocher qui datent de l’église primitive. La façade ouest est remaniée au XIVe siècle, percée d’un porche remplaçant celui en bois qui existait auparavant.
L’église abrite la représentation en peinture d’une charité de saint Martin sur une bannière, où le saint est représenté barbu, à cheval, en train de donner la moitié de son manteau au mendiant, assis par terre est vêtu d’une toge bleue.
Saint-Martin de Sénat is a 12th-century Romanesque church, as evidenced by the choir, apse and bell tower, which date back to the original church. The west facade was remodelled in the 14th century, with the addition of a porch to replace the previous wooden one.
The church is home to a painting depicting the charity of Saint Martin on a banner, in which the bearded saint is shown on horseback giving half his cloak to a beggar sitting on the ground, dressed in a blue toga.
