L’actuelle église Saint-Martin de Sallanches a été construite en 1681, sur un plan en croix-latine, avec un chœur carré, dans le style baroque. Un édifice existait déjà au XIIIe siècle, le long de l’Arve, à côté du pont (le village d’appelait alors Saint-Martin-du-Pont).

The present church of Saint-Martin in Sallanches was built in 1681, on a Latin cross plan, with a square choir, in the baroque style. A building already existed in the 13th century, along the Arve, next to the bridge (the village was then called Saint-Martin-du-Pont).
