L’église Saint-Martin de Châtillon-sur-Cluses est la chapelle domestique du château au XIIIe siècle, elle a accueilli le mariage de Pierre de Savoie avec Agnès de Faucigny en 1223. Elle a été restaurée entre 1368 et 1371. En 1413, elle est une annexe de l’église de Cluses, jusqu’en 1606. Elle a reçu la visite de saint François de Sales le 10 août et le 11 novembre 1606.

Une autre restauration a lieu au XVIIIe siècle.

The church of Saint-Martin in Châtillon-sur-Cluses was the domestic chapel of the castle in the 13th century and hosted the marriage of Peter of Savoy to Agnes of Faucigny in 1223. It was restored between 1368 and 1371. In 1413, it was an annex of the church of Cluses, until 1606. It was visited by Saint François de Sales on 10 August and 11 November 1606.

Another restoration took place in the 18th century.
