L’église Saint-Germain de Bourgueil conserve un important mobilier martinien.

Quatre clefs-de-voûte, disposées sur le plafond du chœur de l’église Saint-Germain, en  ornées de bas-reliefs et de peintures, représentent une charité de saint Martin,  saint Martin chassant le démon, un songe de saint Martin et une messe de saint Martin.

Un vitrail réalisé par Lucien-Léopold Lobin en 1888. Disposé dans l’église Saint-Germain de Bourgueil, saint Martin est représenté en armure, casqué et nimbé, avec une tunique jaune. Il tient son épée de la main droite et va couper son manteau rouge brodé d’or. Il regarde le mendiant qui est assis, à demi-nu, portant un pagne vert et un bandage au pied. Derrière, on voit les remparts d’Amiens. Le fond du vitrail est bleu.

 

The church of Saint-Germain de Bourgueil has preserved a significant amount of Martinian furniture.

Four keystones on the ceiling of the choir of the church of Saint-Germain, decorated with bas-reliefs and paintings, represent a charity of Saint Martin, Saint Martin driving out the devil, a dream of Saint Martin and a mass of Saint Martin.

A stained glass window made by Lucien-Léopold Lobin in 1888. Located in the church of Saint-Germain de Bourgueil, Saint Martin is represented in armour, helmeted and nimbed, with a yellow tunic. He is holding his sword in his right hand and is about to cut off his red coat embroidered with gold. He is looking at the beggar who is sitting half-naked, wearing a green loincloth and a bandage on his foot. Behind him, we see the ramparts of Amiens. The background of the window is blue.
