La chapelle est consacrée à saint Martin au XVè siècle, mais elle est peut être antérieure. La chapelle dépendait de la collégiale Saint-Martin-de-Tours, située dans le cimetière, près de l’église de Langeais. En mauvais état en 1782, son service fut transféré dans la chapelle domestique du château de Chemilly. En 1791, elle figure à usage de grange. Elle fut vendue comme bien national pour 400 livres à la fin du XVIIIe siècle.

The chapel was consecrated to Saint Martin in the 15th century, but may have been built earlier. The chapel belonged to the collegiate church of Saint-Martin-de-Tours, located in the cemetery near the church in Langeais. In poor condition in 1782, its service was transferred to the domestic chapel of the Château de Chemilly. In 1791, it was used as a barn. It was sold as national property for 400 pounds at the end of the 18th century.
