Le vitrail se trouve dans le chœur de l’église de Reugny, deuxième en partant de la gauche. Il a été offert à la paroisse par Léontine et Elodie Lagarde. Il a été réalisé par J.P. Florence, à Tours, en 1901, et fait parti d’un ensemble de cinq vitraux.

Le vitrail se divise en trois registres. Le registre central présente saint Martin évêque nimbé et mitré, vêtu d’une chasuble dorée, d’une dalmatique bleue et rouge avec une aube blanche. Il tient sa crosse dans la main gauche et porte un livre dans la main droite. Le registre supérieur présente la mort de saint Martin. Saint Martin est présenté en évêque, nimbé et mitré, habillé en bleu, allongé dans une barque, accompagné de deux moines, l’un tenant une croix et l’autre lisant un livre. Le registre inférieur présente une charité de saint Martin. Saint Martin à cheval et nimbé, coupe son manteau de couleur verte avec son épée. Un pauvre à demi nu tend la main vers saint Martin. La scène est sur fond rouge, on peut distinguer la porte d’Amiens sur la gauche.

Chaque registre est séparé de l’autre par deux anges. Entre le registre central et le registre inférieur est représentée une bande sur laquelle est écrit : « Martin encore catéchumène revêtu de son manteau ».

The stained glass window is in the choir of the church in Reugny, second from the left. It was donated to the parish by Léontine and Elodie Lagarde. It was made by J.P. Florence, in Tours, in 1901, and is part of a set of five stained glass windows.

The window is divided into three registers. The central register shows St Martin as a nimbed and mitred bishop, wearing a golden chasuble, a blue and red dalmatic and a white alb. He holds his crosier in his left hand and carries a book in his right hand. The upper register shows the death of Saint Martin. Saint Martin is shown as a bishop, nimbed and mitred, dressed in blue, lying in a boat, accompanied by two monks, one holding a cross and the other reading a book. The lower register shows a charity of Saint Martin. Saint Martin, on horseback and wearing a nimbus, cuts his green cloak with his sword. A half-naked poor man is reaching out to Saint Martin. The scene is set against a red background, and the gateway to Amiens can be seen on the left.

Each register is separated from the other by two angels. Between the middle and lower registers is a strip on which is written: « Martin still a catechumen wearing his cloak ».
