L’église de Saint-Antoine-du-Rocher a un vitrail représentant saint Martin durant la messe miraculeuse, avec l’apparition d’une boule de feu sur la tête (Sulpice Sévère, Deuxième dialogue, II).

Saint Martin est représenté nimbé et barbu, vêtu d’une chasuble dorée, levant les mains au ciel. La basilique Saint-Martin de Tours est représentée à l’arrière, à droite, des jambes de saint Martin. Au pied du vitrail est écrit dans un cartouche : « Conservez dans nos cœurs la foi que vous avez prêchée à nos pères ».

Le vitrail est signé « Successeur de L. Lobin » et il est un don de M. et Mme. Avenet.

The church of Saint-Antoine-du-Rocher has a stained glass window depicting Saint Martin during the miraculous mass, with the appearance of a ball of fire on his head (Sulpice Severus, Second Dialogue, II).

Saint Martin is depicted wearing a golden chasuble, bearded and nimbed, and raising his hands to heaven. The Basilica of Saint Martin in Tours is shown behind, to the right of Saint Martin’s legs. A cartouche at the foot of the window reads: « Preserve in our hearts the faith that you preached to our fathers ».

The window is signed « Successeur de L. Lobin » and was donated by Mr and Mrs Avenet.
