Le reliquaire se trouve dans l’église Saint-Médard de Cinq-Mars-la-Pile. Il s’agit d’un reliquaire-monstrance qui contient au centre un fragment d’os de saint Martin.

La statue représente saint Martin en évêque, mitré, avec sa chasuble et sa dalmatique blanches et une aube bleue. Il porte sa crosse d’évêque dans la main gauche, même si une partie est cassée, et un livre dans la main droite. Su le socle est inscrit « St MARTIN ». Ici, saint Martin semble jeune, il ne porte pas la barbe.

The reliquary is located in the church of Saint-Médard in Cinq-Mars-la-Pile. It is a reliquary-monstrance which contains in the centre a fragment of bone of Saint Martin.

The statue represents Saint Martin as a bishop, mitred, with his white chasuble and dalmatic and a blue alb. He carries his bishop’s crook in his left hand, even though part of it is broken, and a book in his right hand. On the base is inscribed « St. Martin ». Here, St Martin looks young, he does not have a beard.
