Ancienne poterne du château de Blois, celle-ci se situait derrière l’église Saint-Martin-des-Choux, qui lui donne son nom. Les vestiges donnent sur la rue Saint-Martin, à proximité de la fontaine Saint-Martin. Le nom de Saint-Martin fait référence à l’ancienne église paroissiale du XIIIe siècle. La fontaine est conçue par l’architecte Aubert, qui fut chargé de la reconstruction de la place après les bombardement de la Seconde Guerre mondiale. Elle figure une gargouille.

This former postern of the castle of Blois was located behind the church of Saint-Martin-des-Choux. The remains overlook the rue Saint-Martin, near the Saint-Martin fountain. The name Saint-Martin refers to the former parish church of the 13th century.
