À une dizaine de kilomètres des habitations de Vilalba, en pleine campagne, l’église Saint-Martin de Belesar apparaît comme isolée, juste entourée d’un cimetière. Sa première construction remonte au IXe siècle, bien qu’elle ait été reconstruite plus tard. Elle abrite une chapelle dédiée à Santo Anxo da Garda, fondée vers le XVIIIe siècle.

About ten kilometers from the houses of Vilalba, in the middle of the countryside, the Saint-Martin de Belesar church seems isolated, just surrounded by a cemetery. Its first construction dates back to the 9th century, although it was rebuilt later. It houses a chapel dedicated to Santo Anxo da Garda, founded around the 18th century.
