L’église Saint-Martin de Venette est construite au XIIe siècle. L’édifice primitif avait une nef unique non voûtée et un chœur de deux travées à chevet plat. Deux voûtes d’ogives et quelques chapiteaux témoignent de cette église primitive. Le reste de l’église est très abîmée durant la guerre de Cent Ans. Elle sera fortement remaniée au XVe siècle et XVIe siècle.

The church of Saint-Martin in Venette was built in the 12th century. The original building had a single un-vaulted nave and a two-bay choir with a flat chevet. Two ribbed vaults and some capitals bear witness to this early church. The rest of the church was badly damaged during the Hundred Years’ War. It was heavily altered in the 15th and 16th centuries.
