L’église Saint-Martin de Thiezac était un prieuré qui appartenait à au chapitre de la cathédrale de Clermont mis en 1315 il est sous la tutelle de l’abbaye Saint Géraud d’Aurillac. Eglise construite au XVe de manière très homogène, seul le porche irrégulier fut rajouté au XVIIIe siècle. L’ensemble est composé d’un large vaisseaux épaulée par des contreforts , de trois travées ouvrant sur les six chapelles latérales disposées symétriquement, d’une abside pentagonale et d’une tour clocher au Nord. La décoration est limitée aux clefs de voûte avec cependant un autel-retable du XVIIe siècle (maître autel) et deux du XIXe siècle. A l’extérieur subsiste une frise à modillons sous le toit, ce qui est assez exceptionnel dans cette région, elle est malheureusement assez mutilée.

The church of Saint-Martin de Thiezac was a priory that belonged to the chapter of the cathedral of Clermont, but in 1315 it was placed under the guardianship of the abbey of Saint-Géraud in Aurillac. The church was built in the 15th century in a very homogeneous way, only the irregular porch was added in the 18th century. The ensemble is composed of a large vessel supported by buttresses, three bays opening onto six symmetrically arranged side chapels, a pentagonal apse and a bell tower to the north. The decoration is limited to the keystones, but there is an altarpiece from the 17th century (main altar) and two from the 19th century. On the outside there is a modillion frieze under the roof, which is quite exceptional in this region, but unfortunately it is quite mutilated.
