Une première église Saint-Martin existe à Quingey depuis la fin du XIIIe siècle, mais elle est entièrement démolie en 1796. La petite chapelle construite en 1762 devient alors l’église paroissiale. La nef est alors refaite et des bas-côtés sont établis au XIXe siècle. L’église est restaurée en 1985.

Au dessus du maître-autel, une charité de saint Martin est peinte par Félix-Henri Giacomotti, peintre né à Quingey. Saint Martin est représenté en soldat, avec une armure, casqué et nimbé. Il est à cheval et vient de couper son manteau rouge avec son épée et le donne au mendiant qui se tient debout et récupère le manteau. Le paysage et enneigé et on distingue en arrière-plan l’enceinte de la ville d’Amiens avec une garnison devant la porte à gauche.

A first Saint-Martin church has existed in Quingey since the end of the 13th century, but it was completely demolished in 1796. The small chapel built in 1762 then became the parish church. The nave was then redone and aisles were built in the 19th century. The church was restored in 1985.

Above the high altar, a charity of Saint Martin is painted by Félix-Henri Giacomotti, a painter born in Quingey. Saint Martin is represented as a soldier, with armor, helmeted and haloed. He is on horseback and has just cut his red cloak with his sword and gives it to the beggar who stands and retrieves the cloak. The landscape is snow-covered and in the background you can see the city walls of Amiens with a garrison in front of the door on the left.
