L’église Saint-Martin de Vernusse est construite au XIIe siècle, mais l’édifice actuel est une reconstruction du XIXe, à la suite d’un effondrement. Il ne reste que le chœur, la croisée du transept ainsi que le croisillon et l’absidiole nord (l’ancienne chapelle de la Vierge) de l’édifice primitif.

L’église abrite un retable en albâtre de Nottingham du XVe siècle, classé aux Monuments historiques.

The church of Saint-Martin de Vernusse was built in the 12th century, but the present building was rebuilt in the 19th century following a collapse. Only the choir, the transept crossing and the northern apsidal chapel (the former chapel of the Virgin) of the original building remain.

The church houses a 15th century Nottingham alabaster altarpiece, which is a listed monument.
