L’église Saint-Martin de Saint-Martin-de-Lixy est construite dans la première moitié du XIIe siècle, mais le cartilage de Saint-Vincent de Mâcon mentionné une église Saint-Martin au Xe siècle.

L’église à un plan en nef unique, directement suivi du chœur et de l’abside en hémicycle, sans transept.

Des travaux de rénovation sont entrepris en 2001.

The church of Saint-Martin of Saint-Martin-de-Lixy was built in the first half of the 12th century, but the cartilage of Saint-Vincent de Mâcon mentions a church of Saint-Martin in the 10th century.
