L’église de Lainsecq est dédiée à saint Martin en souvenir de son passage dans le Morvan en 377.

L’église actuelle a été construite à la fin du XVIe siècle et au début du XVIIe siècle, avec le soutien financier du comte de Beauvais et son épouse Marguerite de Damas, dans le style rhénan, ce qui peut faire supposer que ce sont des ouvriers de cette région qui ont construit l’église.

L’église conserve un vitrail figurant saint Martin et saint Évêque, daté du XIXe siècle.

L’église Saint-Martin est inscrite aux Monuments historiques le 27 février 1934. PA00113723

The church of Lainsecq is dedicated to Saint Martin in memory of his visit to the Morvan in 377.

The present church was built at the end of the 16th century and the beginning of the 17th century, with the financial support of the Count of Beauvais and his wife Marguerite de Damas, in the Rhenish style, which may lead one to suppose that it was workers from this region who built the church.

The church has a stained glass window with St. Martin and St. Bishop, dating from the 19th century.

The church of St. Martin was listed as a historical monument on 27 February 1934. PA00113723
