L’église Saint-Martin de Davenescourt est construite à la fin du XVe siècle, à l’emplacement d’une église antérieure construite au XIIe siècle. Elle a subit deux incendies en 1417 et 1447, qui ont forcé sa reconstruction.

Elle est bâtie en craie, sur un plan basilical aux transepts non saillants, surmontée d’un clocher-refuge. La nef est dépourvue de fenêtre.

La Première Guerre mondiale a fortement endommagée l’église qui a été restaurée durant l’entre-deux-guerres.

L’église est classée aux Monuments historiques le 7 février 1920. PA00116130

The Saint-Martin de Davenescourt church was built at the end of the 15th century, on the site of an earlier church built in the 12th century. It suffered two fires in 1417 and 1447, which forced its reconstruction.
It is built in chalk, on a basilical plan with non-projecting transepts, surmounted by a bell tower. The nave has no window.
The First World War severely damaged the church which was restored during the interwar period.
The church is classified as a Historic Monument on February 7, 1920. PA00116130
