L’église Saint-Martin de Cauvigny est construite au XIe siècle. Le mur sud de la nef date de cette époque. La voûtes d’ogives est antérieure à 1150, date à partir de laquelle l’église primitive est agrandie. Elle a un clocher qui prend la forme d’un beffroi octogonal de style roman et la façade est refaite à ce moment.

Une troisième campagne de construction se tient au XVIe siècle où des éléments sont ajoutés dans le style gothique flamboyant. Un nouveau chœur est bâti.

The church of Saint-Martin de Cauvigny was built in the 11th century. The south wall of the nave dates from this period. The ribbed vaulting dates from before 1150, when the original church was extended. It has a bell tower in the form of an octagonal belfry in the Romanesque style, and the façade was rebuilt at this time.

A third building campaign took place in the 16th century when elements were added in the flamboyant Gothic style. A new choir was built.
