L’église Saint-Martin de Borest est construite au XIIe siècle. Le portail et le mur sud de la nef date de cette époque. Le chœur et les chapelles latérales sont du XIIIe siècle et bâtis dans le style gothique aux influences cisterciennes. Une chapelle est ajoutée au XVe siècle (devenue la sacristie).

Un bas-côté gothique flamboyant est ajouté au XVIe siècle.

La nef a trois travées avec un seul bas-côté. Le chœur a deux travées et un chevet plat. Les chapelles latérales sont de plan carré.

L’église abrite la statue d’une Charité de saint Martin.

The church of Saint Martin de Borest was built in the 12th century. The portal and the south wall of the nave date from this period. The choir and the side chapels date from the 13th century and were built in the Gothic style with Cistercian influences. A chapel was added in the 15th century (now the sacristy).

A flamboyant Gothic aisle was added in the 16th century.

The nave has three bays with a single aisle. The choir has two bays and a flat chevet. The side chapels are square in plan.

The church houses the statue of a Charity of Saint Martin.

The town of Borest has a Saint Martin fountain and a Saint Martin bridge.
