L’église actuelle est construite à sur l’emplacement d’une église cédée au chapitre Saint-Ursin au commencement du 11e siècle par Ségaud (1080). Cette église romane a été victime des guerres de religion qui l’ont abîmée. 

The present church is built on the site of a church ceded to the chapter of Saint Ursin at the beginning of the 11th century by Ségaud (1080). This Romanesque church fell victim to the wars of religion which damaged it.
