L’église Saint-Martin de Belle-Église est construite au XIe siècle dans le style roman. De cette église primitive, il ne reste que la base du clocher, qui constituait la première travée du chœur. Une chapelle au nord de cette base du clocher est ajoutée en 1240 et le chœur est reconstruit. L’église connait des transformations à l’époque gothique. Une chapelle de deux travées est construite au sud à la fin du XIIIe siècle. Deux chapelles sont ajoutés au nord-est et au sud-est du chœur à la fin du XVe siècle.

The church of Saint-Martin de Belle-Église was built in the 11th century in the Romanesque style. All that remains of this early church is the base of the bell tower, which formed the first bay of the choir. A chapel to the north of the bell tower was added in 1240 and the choir was rebuilt. The church underwent changes in the Gothic period. A two-bay chapel was built to the south at the end of the 13th century. Two chapels were added to the north-east and south-east of the choir at the end of the 15th century.
