L’église Saint-Martin de Beaune-la-Rolande dépendait de l’abbaye de Saint-Denis. Une première église est construite au XIIe siècle, puis une église fortifiée est bâtie au XIIIe siècle. Brûlée durant la guerre de Cent ans, en 1427, elle est reconstruite à la fin du XVe siècle. Elle était alors pourvue d’un pont-levis, mais celui-ci a disparu. Il a été remplacé par des marches qui mènent au porche qui a conservé deux meurtrières.

The Church of Saint-Martin in Beaune-la-Rolande was dependent on the Abbey of Saint-Denis. An initial church was built in the 12th century, followed by a fortified church in the 13th century. Burned down during the Hundred Years’ War in 1427, it was rebuilt at the end of the 15th century. It was then equipped with a drawbridge, but this has since disappeared. It has been replaced by steps leading to the porch, which still retains two arrow slits.

The Church of Saint-Martin was listed as a historical monument by decree of April 15, 1911.
