La ville de Liorac faisait partie d’une commanderie de Malte. L’église Saint-Martin de Liorac-sur-Louyre est une église romane fortifiée construite au XIIe siècle. L’église a un clocher fortifié ainsi qu’une bretèche sur la face sud. Il subsiste de l’édifice roman le porche avec les claveaux ornés d’une frise sculptée. L’édifice est agrandi au XVIe et au XVIIe siècles.

The town of Liorac was part of a commandery of Malta. The Saint-Martin church in Liorac-sur-Louyre is a fortified Romanesque church built in the 12th century. The church has a fortified bell tower as well as a gatehouse on the south face. All that remains of the Romanesque building is the porch with keystones adorned with a sculpted frieze. The building was enlarged in the 16th and 17th centuries.
