Chapelle romane située rue Saint-Martin, à l’orée du hameau Saint-Martin, au sud-ouest de Semur-en-Brionnais, en direction de la commune de Saint-Martin-du-Lac, le long du Merdasson, affluent de la Loire. Ancienne église paroissiale du lieu, elle semble être construite à partir du Xe siècle. Elle est composée d’une nef massive seulement percée de deux ouvertures et un clocher-tour s’élève à côté du chœur. Devenue chapelle suite à la construction de la collégiale Saint-Hilaire, église principale de Semur-en-Brionnais, en 1274, elle est longtemps désaffectée.

En 1999, des fresques romanes et gothiques sont découvertes et restaurées. Elle représentent le Christ en majesté, une Vierge à l’Enfant, les symboles des évangélistes, les apôtres, et quelques saints.
