L’église Saint-Martin de La Croupte est construite au XVe siècle avec des remaniements au XVIIIe siècle. Elle est sans doute commandée par les seigneurs de Fervaques, dont le blason se trouve sur deux poutres de la voûte de la nef.

Des intempéries forcent la reconstruction du clocher en 1990 et la toiture est refaite en 1995.

Le village de La Croupte est rattachée à la nouvelle commune de Livarot-Pays-d’Auge depuis le 1er janvier 2016.

Une fontaine dédiée à saint Martin se trouve à proximité de l’église : la fontaine « aux guenilles ». Elle est considérée comme étant là depuis la fondation de l’église.

L’église Saint-Martin est inscrite aux Monuments historiques le 30 décembre 1986. PA00111272

The Saint-Martin de La Croupte church was built in the 15th century with alterations in the 18th century. It is probably commanded by the lords of Fervaques, whose coat of arms is on two beams of the vault of the nave.
Bad weather forced the reconstruction of the bell tower in 1990 and the roof was redone in 1995.
The village of La Croupte has been attached to the new municipality of Livarot-Pays-d’Auge since January 1, 2016.
A fountain dedicated to Saint Martin is located near the church: la fontaine « aux guenilles » (the « rags » fountain). She is considered to have been there since the founding of the church.
The Saint-Martin church was listed as a Historic Monument on December 30, 1986. PA00111272
