L’église de San Martín de Luiña est construite entre 1718 et 1726, dans le style baroque, sur l’emplacement d’un ancien édifice médiéval, dont aucun vestige n’a été conservé. La date de 1726 est inscrite sur le linteau de la porte principale.

Construite en maçonnerie avec des pierres de taille, elle a un plan en croix-latine, à trois nef, avec une abside plate et des sacristes latérales. Les portiques sont construits dans la première décennie du XIXe siècle, alors que le clocher a été érigé au milieu du siècle. Restaurée au XXe siècle, le dôme, endommagé durant la guerre civile, est remplacé en 1964.

Le retable principal, datant de la première moitié du XVIIIe siècle, est dédié à Saint Martin, celui de gauche à la « Virgen del Rosario » et celui de droite à la « Virgen de los Dolores ». Ils sont réalisés par Gabriel Antonio Fernández «Tonín», mais ils ont été brûlés durant la guerre civile.

The Church of San Martín de Luiña was built between 1718 and 1726, in the Baroque style, on the site of an old medieval building, of which no remains have been preserved. The date 1726 is inscribed on the lintel of the main door.
Built in masonry with ashlars, it has a Latin cross plan, with three naves, with a flat apse and side sacrists. The porticoes were built in the first decade of the 19th century, while the bell tower was erected in the middle of the century. Restored in the 20th century, the dome, damaged during the civil war, was replaced in 1964.
The main altarpiece, dating from the first half of the 18th century, is dedicated to Saint Martin, the one on the left to the « Virgen del Rosario » and the one on the right to the « Virgen de los Dolores ». They are made by Gabriel Antonio Fernández “Tonín”, but they were burned during the Civil War.
