Située sur le chemin du nord de Saint-Jacques-de-Compostelle, aux Pays-Basques espagnols, l’ermita de San Martino est à l’est de la ville d’Orio, sur le lieu-dit Barreiatua. Elle est construite avant le XIIIe siècle et rénovée au XVIe siècle, sur un plan rectangulaire avec une nef unique et les murs percés de quatre fenêtres, avec une orientation nord-est. Le porche de la chapelle longe le mur sud.

L’église est dédiée à saint Martin, patron des pèlerins, mais elle n’abrite pas de mobilier qui lui est dédié. La tradition locale rapporte que cette chapelle a été la première paroisse d’Orio.

Located on the northern route to Santiago de Compostela, in the Spanish Basque Country, the hermitage of San Martino is east of the town of Orio, in the place called Barreiatua. It was built before the 13th century and renovated in the 16th century, on a rectangular plan with a single nave and the walls pierced by four windows, with a northeast orientation. The porch of the chapel runs along the south wall.

The church is dedicated to Saint Martin, patron saint of pilgrims, but it does not house any furniture dedicated to him. Local tradition reports that this chapel was the first parish of Orio.
