Un prieuré est construit en 1151 à Orsay par les moines de l’abbaye Notre-Dame de Longpont. La nef, Le chœur et le clocher sont édifiés en 1200 dans le style gothique. Pillée en 1591 par les huguenots, la nef subit un incendie en 1652 lors de la Fronde. Elle est reconstruite en 1656 dans le style néo-roman. La façade est refaite en 1776 dans le style néo-classique par Pierre Gaspard Marie Grimod d’Orsay.

La chapelle sud de l’église conserve une statue de saint Martin.

A priory was built in 1151 in Orsay by the monks of the Notre-Dame de Longpont abbey. The nave, the choir and the bell tower were built in 1200 in the Gothic style. Plundered in 1591 by the Huguenots, the nave suffered a fire in 1652 during the Fronde. It was rebuilt in 1656 in the neo-Romanesque style. The facade was redone in 1776 in the neo-classical style by Pierre Gaspard Marie Grimod d’Orsay.
The southern chapel of the church retains a statue of Saint Martin.
