Une précédente église Saint-Martin est détruite en 1870, tellement elle avait été endommagée par le passage de trains transportant du matériel d’artillerie de l’armée prussienne. L’actuelle église est construite en 1898 par Paul Delefortrie. De nouveau dégradée durant la Première Guerre mondiale, elle est restaurée en 2019 et 2020.

L’église Saint-Martin est construite en brique rouge et blanche et en pierre calcaire, dans le style néo-roman (les voûtes sont néo-gothique). L’entrée principale est située sur le transept nord, précédé d’un porche surmonté du clocher couvert d’une flèche au toit en ardoise.

Un triptyque en bas-relief figure la Crucifixion encadrée de saint Martin et le donateur et sa femme présentés par saint Jean-Baptiste.

A previous church, Saint-Martin, was destroyed in 1870 because it had been so badly damaged by trains carrying artillery equipment for the Prussian army. The present church was built in 1898 by Paul Delefortrie. It was damaged again during the First World War and was restored in 2019 and 2020.

The church of Saint-Martin is built in red and white brick and limestone, in the neo-Romanesque style (the vaults are neo-Gothic). The main entrance is located on the north transept, preceded by a porch surmounted by the bell tower covered by a slate-roofed spire.

A bas-relief triptych shows the Crucifixion framed by Saint Martin and the donor and his wife presented by Saint John the Baptist.
