L’église Saint-Martin est construite au XIe siècle. Elle est donné en 1101 à l’abbaye d’Anchin par Baudric, évêque de Tournai.

La nef est transformée en 1767 par l’ajout d’une travée à l’ouest dans la nef. L’église est agrandie entre 1880 et 1883 par l’architecte Paul Destombes, qui transforme le chœur en « hallekerque », c’est-à-dire église-halle. Le clocher, imitant le style normand, est édifié au XVIIIe siècle. Une cloche du XVIe siècle porte les armes de Charles Quint.

L’église concerve une peinture du sacre de saint Martin, de Jehan Bellegambe, peinte en 1517 pour le retable du maître-autel.

The church of Saint-Martin was built in the 11th century. It was donated to the abbey of Anchin in 1101 by Baudric, bishop of Tournai.

The nave was transformed in 1767 by the addition of a bay to the west in the nave. The church was extended between 1880 and 1883 by the architect Paul Destombes, who transformed the choir into a « hallekerque », i.e. a church-hall. The bell tower, imitating the Norman style, was built in the 18th century. A 16th century bell bears the arms of Charles V.

The church contains a painting of the coronation of Saint Martin, by Jehan Bellegambe, painted in 1517 for the altarpiece of the main altar.

A 19th century stained glass window depicts the Charity of Saint Martin.
