L’église Saint-Martin de Vendresse est construite au milieu de XIIe siècle, vers 1155, en pierre blanche de Chéhéry. Elle est fortifiée au XVIe et au XVIIe siècle par les habitants (la tour porte la date de 1595 mais a été en partie refaite au XVIIIe siècle). L’église a été agrandie au XIXe siècle et porte encore les inscriptions révolutionnaires :  Le peuple français reconnaît l’Être suprême et l’immortalité de l’âme.

L’église Saint-Martin est inscrite aux Monuments historiques en 1972. Elle a été restaurée entre 2008 et 2011. PA00078537

The church of Saint-Martin de Vendresse was built in the middle of the 12th century, around 1155, in white stone from Chéhéry. It was fortified in the 16th and 17th centuries by the inhabitants (the tower bears the date 1595 but was partly rebuilt in the 18th century). The church was enlarged in the 19th century and still bears the revolutionary inscriptions: The French people recognise the Supreme Being and the immortality of the soul.

The church of Saint-Martin was listed as a historical monument in 1972. It was restored between 2008 and 2011. PA00078537
