L’église Saint-Martin de Reuil est dans un tel état de misère au début du XIXe siècle que le curé, Jonel, et le préfet, organisent en 1838 une grande campagne de restauration et d’embellissement.

L’église Saint-Martin est fortement abimée au sortir de la Première Guerre mondiale et est restaurée entre 1923 et 1930.

L’église est construite sur un plan en croix-latine aux transepts peu saillants. Bâtie en moellons et couverte de tuiles plates, l’église a une nef centrale pourvue de deux bas-côtés et quatre travées.

L’église Saint-Martin est classée aux Monuments historiques en 1919. PA00078829

The church of Saint-Martin de Reuil was in such a poor state at the beginning of the 19th century that the parish priest, Jonel, and the prefect organised a major restoration and embellishment campaign in 1838.

The church of Saint Martin was badly damaged after the First World War and was restored between 1923 and 1930.

The church is built on a Latin cross plan with slightly protruding transepts. Built of rubble stone and covered with flat tiles, the church has a central nave with two aisles and four bays.

The church of Saint-Martin was listed as a historical monument in 1919. PA00078829
