La première mention de l’église Saint-Martin de Courtisols est dans le polyptique de l’abbaye Saint-Remi de Reims, au IXe siècle.

L’actuelle église Saint-Martin est construite au XIIe siècle. La nef est romane, même si une partie est remaniée au XVIe siècle par Guichard Antoine. Une tour carré romane s’élève au-dessus de la nef. Le chœur gothique porte une abside polygonale.

Un bas-relief figure saint Martin en évêque, mitré, avec, en-dessous, l’inscription : O Bx MARTIN, MARTYR SANS ÊTRE TUÉ.

The first mention of the church of Saint-Martin de Courtisols is in the polyptych of the abbey of Saint-Remi de Reims, in the 9th century.

The current church of Saint-Martin was built in the 12th century. The nave is Romanesque, although part of it was redesigned in the 16th century by Guichard Antoine. A square Romanesque tower rises above the nave. The Gothic choir has a polygonal apse.

A bas-relief shows Saint Martin as a bishop, mitred, with the inscription below: O Bx MARTIN, MARTYR SANS ÊTRE TUÉ.
