Une première église existait au XIe siècle. Elle a été donnée à l’abbaye de Marmoutier par Riwallon le Normand. Marmoutier la rattache au prieuré de la Trinité de Fougères.

L’église Saint-Martin est construite en grès doré de Vitré. De l’église primitive, il reste les fondations et un caveau sous l’hôtel. L’actuel édifice date du XIVe siècle et le chevet est construit en 1625.

A first church existed in the 11th century. It was given to the abbey of Marmoutier by Riwallon the Norman. Marmoutier attached it to the priory of the Trinity of Fougères.

The church of Saint-Martin is built of golden sandstone from Vitré. The foundations of the original church and a vault under the hotel remain. The present building dates from the 14th century and the chevet was built in 1625.
