Durant l’Antiquité, le site une basilique civile romaine située sur la route entre Milan et Vienne. L’église du Prieuré Saint-Martin date du XIe siècle. La crypte et le chœur sont les restes de cette église primitive. Les fresques date du XIIe siècle et la crypte du XIIIe siècle.

L’église était une église prieurale relevant de l’abbaye Saint-Michel-de-la-Cluse, mais les prieurs ont quitté le lieu au XVe siècle.

L’église abrite maintenant un musée lapidaire. Elle est classée aux Monuments historiques depuis 1875. PA00118162

In ancient times, the site was a Roman civil basilica on the road between Milan and Vienna. The church of St. Martin’s Priory dates from the 11th century. The crypt and the choir are the remains of this early church. The frescoes date from the 12th century and the crypt from the 13th century.

The church was a priory church of the abbey of Saint-Michel-de-la-Cluse, but the priors left in the 15th century.

The church now houses a lapidary museum. It has been a listed building since 1875. PA00118162
