La première mention de l’église Saint-Martin de Panossas est dans l’état des possessions de l’abbaye de Saint-Chef daté de 1247. L’église aurait été reconstruite en 1764, date inscrite sur le linteau de la porte d’entrée. Une tour hors-œuvre est ajoutée au XXe siècle. Des travaux de restauration sont entrepris en 1973, supprimant un enduit intérieur qui avait été mis en 1827.

L’édifice est composé d’une nef unique et d’un chevet plat. Les deux sont séparés d’un clocher-mur. Une chapelle Saint-Martin a été construite en 1842 contre le mur nord.

The first mention of the church of Saint-Martin de Panossas is in the state of the possessions of the abbey of Saint-Chef dated 1247. The church was rebuilt in 1764, the date inscribed on the lintel of the entrance door. An extra tower was added in the 20th century. Restoration work was undertaken in 1973, removing an interior plaster that had been applied in 1827.

The building consists of a single nave and a flat chevet. The two are separated by a bell tower-wall. A St Martin’s chapel was built in 1842 against the north wall.
