Un tableau représentant une charité de saint Martin se trouve dans la cathédrale Saint-Pierre de Condom.

Saint Martin est représenté en soldat romain, cavalier, casqué et nimbé. Il est vêtu d’une cape rouge dont une partie est posée sur le bras gauche et tient son épée dans sa main droite. Saint Martin est tourné vers le mendiant qui se trouve derrière la croupe du cheval. Celui-ci est à demi-nu, avec une barbe blanche, et porte un fagot de bois sur le dos. En arrière-plan, on distingue les remparts de la ville d’Amiens dans un paysage hivernal.

Nous trouvons l’inscription CARITAS, en lettres d’or, au-dessus de l’épée, ainsi que la date de 1876 dans le coin inférieur gauche.

Saint Martin is represented as a Roman soldier, a horseman, helmeted and nimbed. He is dressed in a red cloak, part of which is placed on his left arm, and holds his sword in his right hand. Saint Martin is facing the beggar who is behind the horse’s hindquarters. The beggar is half-naked, with a white beard, and is carrying a bundle of wood on his back. In the background, we can see the ramparts of the city of Amiens in a winter landscape.

The inscription CARITAS, in gold letters, appears above the sword, as well as the date 1876 in the lower left corner.
