La cathédrale de l’archidiocèse de Katowice, dédiée au Christ-Roi (Archikatedra Chrystusa Króla, en polonais), possède un vitrail figurant une charité de saint Martin. La construction de cette église a débutée en 1927 et elle a été consacrée le 30 octobre 1955, le vitrail a dû être réalisé entre ces deux dates. Il se trouve à gauche à l’entrée de la nef. Saint Martin se trouve dans le registre supérieur du vitrail alors que le registre inférieur figure saint Jean Sarkander (Jan Sarkander). Saint Martin est représenté en soldat romain, casqué et nimbé. Il est à cheval et est en train de couper son manteau avec son épée. Le mendiant est presque nu, agenouillé devant saint Martin et tend les mains en l’air. Le fond du vitrail est doré. En-dessous de la scène est écrit : SWIETY MARCIN (Saint Martin).

Saint Martin is in the upper register of the window, while the lower register shows Saint John Sarkander (Jan Sarkander). Saint Martin is depicted as a Roman soldier, helmeted and nimbed. He is on horseback and is cutting his cloak with his sword. The beggar is almost naked, kneeling before Saint Martin and holding his hands up. The background of the window is gilded. Below the scene is written: SWIETY MARCIN (Saint Martin).
