L’église Saint-Martin de Genneteil est construite au XIIe siècle à l’emplacement d’une villa qui appartenait au chapitre de Saint-Martin de Tours en 774, dont une chapelle est mentionnée dans un acte de 862. Le chœur est restauré à la fin du XVIIe siècle. La cure de l’église de Genneteil est restée possession de Saint-Martin de Tours jusqu’à la Révolution française.  Elle est classée au Monuments historiques le 13 novembre 1969.  PA00109128

The church of Saint-Martin de Genneteil was built in the 12th century on the site of a villa that belonged to the chapter of Saint-Martin de Tours in 774, and whose chapel is mentioned in a deed of 862. The choir was restored at the end of the 17th century. The curacy of the church of Genneteil remained in the possession of Saint-Martin de Tours until the French Revolution.
