La commune de Tournon-Saint-Martin doit son nom au retour du corps de saint Martin après son séjour bourguignon, à la fin des invasions normandes, au IXe siècle.
L’église Saint-Martin est édifiée entre 1902 et 1904, à la place d’une église construite à la suite des invasions normandes, démolie à la suite de l’effondrement de la voûte. Elle abrite des reliques de saint Martin, sainte Radegonde et de la Sainte Croix.
Tournon-Saint-Martin owes its name to the return of the body of Saint Martin after his stay in Burgundy at the end of the Norman invasions in the 9th century.
The church of Saint-Martin was built between 1902 and 1904, replacing a church built after the Norman invasions, which was demolished when the vault collapsed. It houses relics of Saint Martin, Saint Radegonde and the Holy Cross.
