La ville de Valmy reste associée à la bataille de Valmy, et l’église de la ville porte de la dédicace de saint Martin. Elle est construite en 1835 à l’emplacement d’une ancienne église dont il ne reste que le chœur bâti en 1740.  L’église consiste en une nef de trois vaisseaux qui se termine par le chœur, sans transept. L’église est entourée du cimetière de la ville.

The town of Valmy remains associated with the battle of Valmy, and the church of the town bears the dedication of Saint Martin. It was built in 1835 on the site of an old church of which only the choir remains, built in 1740. The church consists of a nave of three vessels which ends in the choir, without a transept. The church is surrounded by the town cemetery.
