L’église Saint-Martin de Fesmy-le-Sart apparaît, d’après les archives, au XIIIe siècle. Elle a été reconstruite ou agrandie en 1718 (date sur une pierre de l’église), le chœur restant d’origine. Bombardée en 1918, elle est intégralement reconstruite  par l’entrepreneur A. Van der Eecken sur les plans de Jean Canonne, architecte à Guise, entre mars 1929 et mai 1931.

Construite en brique, elle a un plan allongé à trois vaisseaux et elle est couverte d’une coupole sur la nef et les bas-côtés.

The church of Saint-Martin in Fesmy-le-Sart appears, according to the archives, in the 13th century. It was rebuilt or enlarged in 1718 (date on a stone of the church), the choir remaining original. Bombed in 1918, it was completely rebuilt by the contractor A. Van der Eecken on the plans of Jean Canonne, architect in Guise, between March 1929 and May 1931.

Built in brick, it has an elongated three-ship plan and is covered with a dome over the nave and the aisles.
