Construite en bordure du canal latéral à la Loire, l’église marque la création du   bourg de Marseilles-lès-Aubigny. Une des fenêtres vient du prieuré d’Aubigny. L’ancienne église Saint-Martin de Marseilles, sous le patronage du prieuré d’Aubigny-sur-Loire, n’existe plus et a été transformée en ferme. L’église possède classiquement  un plan en croix latine.

Built on the banks of the Canal Latéral à la Loire, the church marks the creation of the village of Marseilles-lès-Aubigny. One of the windows comes from the priory of Aubigny. The former church of Saint-Martin de Marseilles, under the patronage of the priory of Aubigny-sur-Loire, no longer exists and has been transformed into a farm. The church has a classic Latin cross plan.
